Sometimes sport is more than goals and points.
Its about coming out of a bad place to a place where it is better for you. It's about being among your own. It's about the slow, hard minutes, hours, days, icing and rehabbing after an injury, it's about training on a dark evening, the soft ground under your feet, it's the familiar smell of the dressing room, gear bags in the same places, its about the sacrifices, watching the diet, watching the alchohol, staying in on Saturday nights for Sunday morning sessions, Its about heading home after a tough, hard training, its about the huddle before the game and looking into lads eyes and knowing in that moment that no better place exists, it's about the clean pure pre and post game adrenaline rush that been with the rest of the team brings, it's about the bus journey home, laughter, quietness and fun.
Sport is more than goals and points, it's people.

On Friday last, 3rd February 2023, Our senior football panel were unfortunately defeated in the Leinster A football semi final by a Naas CBS at a perfect Park Ratheniska GAA grounds in Laois.
The final score was 1-07 to 0-08.
