As the Colaiste Choilm team arrived at Cappincur GAA pitch at 11 am, the Newbridge boys got to Cappincur GAA grounds at 11:25. With an hour to warm up, Colaiste Choilm got a good warm-up in. With a great team talk from coaches Mr. Kearney and Mr. Farrell it was time for throw in
The game started at 12 pm and Colaiste Choilm opened with the first score of the game by Fionnán Connolly scoring a goal in the 49th second. Just a minute and twenty-six seconds after Colaiste Choilm scored another goal to put them 2-0 to 0-0 up. Although in the 4th min Newbridge intercept from a Colaiste Choilm free and get their 1st point of the game
In this meetup the referee was blowing his whistle a lot as this was a very physical matchup. In a tight chance Colaiste Choilm's forwards punch the ball over the bar to get a point
Colaiste Choilm triumphed in the 10-14 min scoring 3 points and a goal. Goalkeeper Oisín Rigney made a vital save to prevent a goal in the 17th minute. After two more points for Colaiste Choilm the defenders made a great goal line clearance.
Newbridge get back in the 22 to 24th min scoring 2 goals and one point. In the 27th minute Sam Heffernan got subbed on for Timmy Cunningham Colaiste Choilm sneak in a point just before half time. The score at half time was 3-8 to 2-1.
Colaiste Choilm gets the first chance in the second half to score and narrowly misses. Jayden Daly which was a vital player this match scoring 4 of the goals. Colaiste Choilm went hard in the rest of the match scoring 3 goals and 3 points in in the 33-38 min
The coaches Mr. Kearney and Mr. Farrell made a lot of substitutions in the second half due to the staring players being worn out due to the tremendous work rate. This includes the whole back line and the goalkeeper
In the 39th minute to the 54th minute Colaiste Choilm dominated as they scored 6 goals and 2 points before their streak being interrupted by Newbridge scoring 2 goals and 2 points in the last few minutes
The referee called the game 5 mins early after a great matchup but colaiste choilm triumphed and won.
