Coláiste Choilm Celebrates Academic Excellence at the 2024 Kearney Awards
Coláiste Choilm hosted its annual Kearney Awards ceremony last Friday night, celebrating the outstanding academic achievements of its students. The event, organised by the school's Parents’ Association, was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers, and parents.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ray O’Donovan, the Master of Ceremonies, and Ms. Elaine O’Gorman, Chairperson of the Parents’ Association. The evening was filled with pride and joy as students were recognized for their excellence in various subjects.
Leaving Certificate Awards
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Academic Excellence Awards for the Leaving Certificate class of 2024. The recipients of the Academic Excellence Awards for the Leaving Certificate class of 2024 were Liam Aubin, Luke Boyle, Jack Burns, Brian Connolly, Pádraig Cooney, Michael Corcoran, Ciarán Crowley, Luke Duffy, Emmet Dunne, Peter Feely, Eoin Gaffey, John Greene, Joe Hughes, Edvinas Kryzevicius, Evan Larkin, Christopher Leavy, Cian McConnell, Finn McCormack, Christopher O’Reilly, David O’Rourke, Oisín Phelan, Peter Raine, Conor Sheehy, Jack Smiley, Silinou, Kevin Sweeney, and Conor Timmerman.

Several special awards were also presented, recognising exceptional performance in specific subjects:

Junior Cycle Awards
The Junior Cycle students were also celebrated for their academic achievements.
The Silver Medal recipients for the Junior Cycle 2024 were Conall Hyland, Peter Hughes, Charlie Heffernan, Aaron Maxwell, Cormac O’Grady, Ahmed Mukassabi, Shopneel Karmaker, Patrick Duffy, and Noel Philip.
The Gold Medal recipients for the Junior Cycle 2024 were Lucas Burke Treacy, Donal Connolly, Roy Chen, Maksymilian Zeniuk, Seosamh Varley, and Darrin Dinson.

The Leaving Certificate students were awarded medals for their exceptional performance:
