  1. Sports Fundraising Draw is taking place again this year. Most if not all of you should have your draw cards at this stage. This draw helps to cover the massive costs involved in running a wide variety of sports in the school. Every sporting event that takes place involves costs such as, bus hire, pitch hire, referee expenses, laundry of jerseys, affiliation fees to all the different sporting organizations and purchase of gear and equipment. It is vitally important that we fundraise in order to ensure these events can continue to take place. This year the winners of the draw will have a choice of the following: A trip to Anfield to see Liverpool play Spurs or a trip to Old Trafford to see Man Utd V Chelsea. These prizes are for two people and include tickets to the event, accommodation and travel and transfers. As per usual there is also a seller’s prize. Anyone who fills a full card will be entered into the sellers draw and will also have a chance of winning the same prize as above, trip to Anfield or Old Trafford. This means that one student from the school will definitely win the trip outlined above. The more cards you fill the better chance you have of winning the sellers prize. There will also be prizes for the top 5 students who sell the most amount of cards. Please ensure that you keep your card safe and return it to the teacher who gave it to you. The draw will take place on the 30th of Nov which gives you 3 weeks to fill your cards. All students who play sports for the school should make and extra effort to fill as many cards as possible. All money raised will go back into the running of sports in the school.
