As Principal, on behalf of the hardworking, dedicated staff and Board of Management of Coláiste Choilm Tullamore, I would like to welcome you to our new website which I hope will provide you with a flavour of life here in our school. I hope that you take the time to view the pages to get a sense of the wonderful school that we have.

Coláiste Choilm is a Catholic voluntary secondary school under the trusteeship of the Bishop of Meath, Most Rev Tom Deenihan. As such, we place great value on faith formation, the nurturing of spirituality and an exposure to prayer and liturgies on a daily basis throughout the school year. All students are encouraged to develop their talents and achieve their full potential, as they journey towards independence and finding their place in society as fully-rounded young men.

Coláiste Choilm is a vibrant school, which continually seeks to achieve high standards in all that it does. A holistic education is the core principle of life in the school, where high academic expectations are balanced with a broad co-curricular and extra-curricular programme. We encourage our students to reach their full potential and to be sensitive to the rights and needs of others.

Our professional teaching staff strives for excellence in and outside of the classroom. We have a great sense of community among staff and students throughout the school. We make every effort to create a positive school environment where learning is valued. We do this in partnership with our parents who we recognise as the primary educators of their sons. We find it a great privilege that so many parents entrust their sons’ education to us.
