Tours and trips are an integral and highly valued part of life at Coláiste Choilm, enriching the educational experience and providing students with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. These experiences help to deepen understanding, broaden horizons and create lasting memories.

Many of our trips are closely linked to the curriculum, giving students the chance to bring their studies to life. Examples include the Leaving Certificate Geography Field Studies Trip, educational visits to Dublin such as the Mosque and Dublin Zoo for CSPE, and industry visits such as trips to Google. These experiences allow students to engage directly with real-world environments and applications of their learning.

In addition to academic trips, Coláiste Choilm offers a variety of exciting extracurricular tours that promote personal development, independence and cultural awareness. Popular trips include the Barcelona Tour, Ski Tour and Space Camp, all of which provide unique opportunities for students to travel, explore and bond with their peers.

More recently, students have enjoyed a 2nd Year trip to Manchester, as well as a highly successful Transition Year skiing trip, further highlighting the school’s commitment to providing diverse and memorable experiences.
